Shahin talks about Automation AI and how it’s trending across industries
“The digital transformation across industries is one of the bigger challenges most enterprises are facing right now. On the supplier side, there is a mixed bag on capabilities and some trendy buzz words such as AI and Blockchain. Many traditional automation companies are in the category of robotics process automation (RPA), while others are trying to enhance their offering by adding the so called native AI capabilities. They are mostly influenced by big companies such as Microsoft and IBM promoting AI as a simple offering. This has created a lot of confusion in the industry as to who is offering what. In addition the “automation fear” is something we see everywhere. We believe automation combined with humanity is something the industry needs to thrive for.”
A little about Shahin
Dr. Arefzadeh has over 18 years’ experience in the IT, Telecommunication, and TV Broadcast industries, serving in a variety of CIO, CTO, and principal engineering roles for numerous multinational corporations, such as Granite and Telcordia. Dr. Arefzadeh has also helped launch several German tech start-ups and was responsible for Dimetis’ products in Broadcast OSS for distribution and contribution networks and grew the company size nearly tenfold f in 6 years while multiplying the revenue. Dr. Arefzadeh is a published author and a featured speaker at leading industry events such Telco Cloud Forum, Digital Transformation World, 5G World, Blockchain East, and Broadband Forum on topics such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Next Generation Networks and Systems.
